About our private lesson program
We offer private music lessons for students of all ages, from young beginners (typically 5+) to adults. Our experienced instructors tailor their teaching approach to match each student's age, skill level, and learning style.
We offer lessons in 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute formats. For students ages 5-8, 30 minutes is ideal for maintaining focus and engagement. For students 9 and older, we strongly recommend 45-minute lessons to allow adequate time for comprehensive instruction covering musicianship, repertoire study, technique, and musical expressivity.
For piano lessons, we have instruments available at the studio. For other instruments, we recommend having your own instrument for practice at home. We're happy to provide guidance on purchasing or renting the right instrument for your needs.Learn more here
If a student is absent for their weekly private lesson, their teacher will automatically leave the student an online video lesson with new material via our online lesson system, LessonMate.org. The student will be responsible for reviewing the online lesson material to prepare for the following week. Private lessons cannot be temporarily rescheduled. There are no make-ups for missed private lessons.
